Hi all, hope you can help. Just noticed pigs back feet look sore. I think it is bumblefoot. Skin isn't broken or swollen. Can anyone advise whether this needs a vet trip or just to be kept clean and dry? She has been staying in one spot most of the time as she is lonely (sorting that too), so I should have cleaned her more.

We can't of course give a definitive diagnosis from a photo, but to me those feet do look a little red and sore but the skin doesnt appear obviously broken open and infected as one would see in bumblefoot. I would definitely recommend getting the vet to check the feet as part of piggy's routine check up in her new home, and piggy might need some regular foot care in future to avoid this progressing into bumblefoot.
Those feet look quite like my pig Jezzy floof's feet, which are always a bit red and crusty but with weekly paw cleans and moisturising on the advice of our vet we can stop them getting any worse x

I’m no expert but that doesn’t look infected or swollen, just a little red! It doesn’t look like bumble foot. Keep her little feet as dry as you can and change the base material as soon as it feels damp x
If it looks any worse a vet check is always a good idea x

One of my pigs with mobility issues sometimes gets sore red feet, gorgeous guineas F and M ointment helps get them back to normal very quickly so I would give that a try. Any sign of it getting worse I'd have it evaluated by a vet though, or if at any point you're concerned about it :)
