My 5 month boar has a sore back foot. When I picked him up he had a sore on the top of his toe and a brown area on the side that I assumed was a scab.

The toe appears slightly swolen and red. The bit on the side that looks like a scab doesn't appear scab like, it doesnt soften or loosen with bathing. He fidgets and squeeks when I touch it so its causing some discomfort.
He is walking and moving fine and is kicking me lots when I check it.

Ive been bathing it with diluted hibiscrub. I'm going to try and get him in the vets but it may end up being next week now.

I've managed to get a couple of pics, not the best because hes such a fidget. I'm not sure if its bumblefoot, I've had a sow with that before and it looked completely different to this.

I'm not completely sure but when my Sam had bumblefoot it was swollen and red and eventually got a scab on it.I would definatly see a vet to check it out x

Definitely something to get checked out by the vet - to check whether it's an injury he has something stuck inside (like a sharp pieice of hay that has/may become infected) or whether he has bumblefoot. Definitely keep it clean until you can get him to the vets. Hope all goes well.

Hi! Please see a vet. He may need an antibiotic.
