I have just cuddled Jemima, and was checking her over, and she has a really sore mouth - it looks a bit scabby, and like there's a bit of a lump on one side. Obviously I will get her to the vet tomorrow morning, but is there anything I can do for her now?

Wasn't expecting a poorly guinea pig just two weeks after bringing them home :(

I haven't fed fruit, apart from a small piece of apple once, as I know fruit can cause mouth sores.

Thank you, it does look like it could be the start of cheilitis. I'll get her to the vet tomorrow morning.

Is it catching? Will Squiggles be next? :(
