hi all, i’m new to this but have a female guinea who i’ve noticed has a patch by her bum that doesn’t quite look normal.

She’s fine in herself.

I’m not sure if it’s an infected grease gland, or of it’s just something i havent noticed before. Can anyone help please?

I’ve washed it down and taken a picture.

Hi and welcome

Please see a vet. Unfortunately by washing it down you have made a diagnosis much more difficult. It is impossible to say whether it is an infected cyst or gland or a fungal patch.

You wouldn't of known about washing the bottom. That really doesn't look very good.
I would be a good idea to get your piggy to the vets, as soon as possible. If you don't know of a piggiesavvy vet.
look in the above green bar, it will tell you to enter your post code then it will tell you the closes to you don't worry it's only you can, see the post code.
