I've made a vets appointment so just posting on here to see in the meantime.

Pepper hAs a dry/scabby patch on her back about the size of a 1p. When I touched it she acted like it was itchy and practically leaned over and thumped her back leg.

The fur near one eye also seems to have vanished over night and it looks sore. The other two girls have no signs of anything. She's feeding etc like normal.

It sounds rather like ringworm/fungal to me, especially with the patch right next to the eye, but your vet will have to decide whether it is mange mites or fungal. They can look rather similar in the very early stages and are equally painfully itchy. Good that you have got her already booked in!

Here are our tips on what you need to be aware of when dealing with potential ringworm, which is the most aggressive and also the most transmittable form of fungal. Please be aware that any lab tests for skin scratches will only test for ringworm, but not other forms of fungal. Please be aware that in either case you need to also treat any companions to prevent them from coming down with it.

She's going at 5.15, they've said just to bring her down. Will she be ok when I put her back in though? She'll be out just over an hour.
