Ive got back from a weekend away and Lincoln seems to have a sore throat maybe. His trying to wheek but its not happening and its very quite and breaks up when he tries, his normally very very loud. any ideas? :(

i think ours get a sore throat from calling for food every time we go into the kitchen! not sure what will help it.

Aww hope lil Lincoln is ok soon. Is he showing any other symptoms or is it just the sore throat? It could just be something sinister like he has a bit of a dry throat. I would imagine that if he had a cold, he'd be coughing as well. I'd keep an eye on him and if he isn't back to his normal squeeking self soon, I'd take him to the vets x

Does he sound like he's wheezing when he tries to squeak? He could have a mouth infection maybe? If he still isn't right tomorrow i'd pop him to the vets just to be on the safe side xx

I took our Curly to the vet when he sounded hoarse and his squeak was breaking up like Lincoln as I was worried with him only being a youngster. The vet listened to his chest and checked him out, his chest was clear, so I think he'd just been shouting too much!

He is back to normal now (this was last week).
Hope Lincoln gets better soon - if he starts "clicking" or sounding wheezy/snotty then get him to the vets.
