What a week and a bit i've had, but i thought i would take the time (whilst i have it) to write down about Rufus!
So we took Rufus back to P@H at first they thought he could of have an URI! So we left him with P@H as they were already waiting for a vet to come for one of the other animals. They had a nice cage to keep him in through the back so it was quiet enough for him. So they said give them a day or two and they would call back. But my OH being I'm argued his point and got our money back after we explained what happened to Stig. So P@H called and asked us to come down. Rufus...well Rufus wasn't a boy...he or should i say she was a girl! Apparently she was fine, she simply could of been stressed.
So i brought her back home but i was in a bit of a dilemma as my Winston is a boar and i am not putting him through an operation. So at work i was talking to one of my work mate wife, as she was saying she has a herd of piggies in her converted garage. Her older female piggie had just had babies and they were getting old enough to re-home. She has three adult males and two were castrated and one wasn't. But the one that wasn't is getting the snip(he may have had it now). So i told her that Rufus wasn't a boy and that i was stuck so said she would take her, and give me one of the babies.
So to cut along story short Rufus is now in a big herd getting on with a lot more piggies and Winston has a new buddy who is definitely a boy. Poor Winston is getting humped stupid. And i don't think he is the boss anymore!
