Hi guys sorry I havent been on much having a tough time at the moment 8... Pixie pig had to go back to P@H (adopted her from the adoption centre) she was incredibly ill and I didnt understand why and they took her to their vets. she has a viral infection and had been prescribed a course of antibiotic. I miss her so so much! They said they had to keep her until the antibiotics were finished and then I need to go back and get her. Wish I had just taken her to my own vet now 8... cause then she could have millions of cuddles while she recovered! She was given 3 days where they would know wether she survived or not and this is day 3 so hopefully she makes it tonight and is in the green rather than the red :( Sorry for the long winded story :( Apart from that Elf is VERY quiet without her I think she misses her! Harry and Toffee are their usual selfs weeking and making me laugh hope everyone is well x
 
I phoned there to see how she was getting on :red they will think I'm a pest! turns out is was a chest infection caused by a bacterial infection? mallethead they said that it wasnt anything i had done wrong its maybe been underlying and stress brought it on? They had to hand feed her every couple of hours and shes started picking at her food and starting to eat by herself! Shes not quite out of the woods yet and it will be a whole week and a day before she can come home! but she seems to be fighting! I cant wait to give her the biggest hug i possibly can! I miss her so much and so does Eflie! thanks guys for your kind words will keep everyone updated as much as I can xxxxx
 
It's great to hear she's improving, I hope she can be home with you soon
 
I hope all goes well for you! That must be so upsetting for you. At least she's on the road to recovery. Wishing you all the best :).

Thanks C x sorry i havent been in touch just been a worry bug all week! Elfies not doing too well :( (shes healthy and not ill) think she just misses Pixie shes been in her Chube all week comes out for a nibble and then retreats again :( x

Update

Went into P@H otnight to get some essentials for the meagerie I asked if someone could tell me how Pixie was doing.... She has seen the vets again as her breathing hasnt changed and her eye still has puss (but white puss so thats ok said the guy mallethead ) as she had a scratched eye? the vet is very doubtful her breathing will ever improve ?/ and she is not eating on her own she is being handfed but moving around and munching large amounts of hay ... this is a completely different story from what I was told on saturday ! I was told she started eating on her own and her eye was completely healed I dont even know where I stand but this weekend I'm going to tell them shes comig home to me so I can continue looking after her etc 2 different storys in the space of what 5 days ?/ dont think soooo! I was also advised I wont be able to rebond her and Elf! Silly man! if its possible could she have some spare vibes? x
 
If you can get her home ASAP what will help her alot, especailly if shes back in Elfs company, as then Pixie will be in fimiliar surroundings with Elf and you who can give he rlots more fuss than pet shop staff, as dont forget they go home when the store closes, so she will be miles better off at home again surrounded by cuddles and love and all the care she needs.

Really hopeing she is ok and that you get her back home
 
I'm so sorry to hear this, i really hope she gets better soon and i hope you get to bring her home soon, you must be going out of your mind! :(

going out my minds an understatement one nice thing he did say was that she was quite a character and she was a really lovely little pig ! of course she is shes my special girl :) I'm going to phone them tomorow and say ill pick her up sunday afternoon and just continue treatment myself. for all she may be fussed over etc they also said she was put in a "quiet" room for recovery and P@H is so cold as well and dark at night my poor girl 8... shes used to having cuddles and tv at night loads of noise and company! Elf is completely withdrawn as well. The only think that entices her out is when she can hear Harry and Toffee! I wish id just taken her to my own vet now I'm so stupid 8...
 
no your not stupid, you thought you were doing the right thing. Just get her bring her home and cherish her......sending vibes, always lots of spare vibes available.
