Hello!

Last night I noticed that Sergio all of a sudden started sneezing more than usual. His nose sounds blocked (I heard some kind of "snoring" during the night) and I think that it's runny because it looks crusty... He doesn't seem to have difficulty breathing however. No coughing so far and no watery eyes. Just a blocked runny nose and sneezing, which helps him clear his nose a bit I think.

The vet will be back from Easter holidays on Wednesday, is there anything I can do to help him until then?

Sergio started taking Baytril 2 weeks ago, because of his dental operation, and we won't stop it until Wednesday at least, according to the vet of course. So he was on antibiotics when the cold symptoms started.

Any advice? What can I do to help him? Is there aything I can do to clear his nose and help him breathe more easily?

I also noticed some weight loss (about 20gr. in 3 days)... Could this be because of taking Baytril for so long? Or it has something to do with the cold he caught?

Thanks!

Hmm, if his nose is stuffy then you could try putting a tiny dab of Vicks on his nose, maybe that'll help him breathe better for a while.

Good Luck! :) :) :)
