Hi all

about 8 weeks ago we woke one morning to find Sid making a noise that I can only describe as a baby snuffle.... sounded a little bit snotty!
we took him to the vet where he refused to make any noise at all! He was checked over and his chest was clear. The vet said it sounded like his nose from what we described and gave him antibiotics as a precaution. He made the noise all day then never again!

Forward to today and he is doing it again. No other symptoms. Still chatting, eating, drinking and active.
Changes to his run.... I have cleaned him out fully today. I am using Carefresh and have been since just before Christmas. It doesn't seem dusty to me but could be to him?

has anyone got any thoughts?
Could it be carefresh causing it? or just I get him to vets tomorrow?

Thanks x

I have heard of piggies finding carefresh dusty. I would switch to vetbed as it is hypoallergenic. If he is still snuffly then you can be certain he has a uri. I use vetbed myself and really think it is the best bedding for guinea pigs. It is used by all vets hence the name. I get mine from dogsproductdirect.
