Sparrow - My Piggy

This is Sparrow. She was three years old in August. I hand reared her on kitten milk powder (can't remember what it was called, but I got it from my vet). I did it by syringe, all though it is not recommended, but it certainly did the trick. Mum had milk but refused to feed her.

Anyway this is her a couple of weeks ago. Even though she was hand reared and was popped into my pocket to keep her warm, she is a little on the shy side.

We named her Sparrow because she looked like a little bird when really tiny. Sometimes when she looks at me now, I reckon she looks more like an owl around the eyes.

Awww what a little beauty Sparrow is. x)x)x) Yes I had to syringe feed 6 piggies once that lost their mother when they were a few days old and fortunately it worked for me - although I did read afterwards that it can be dangerous if any milk goes in their lungs. I used Lactol from the pet shop.
