Junior Guinea Pig
My Mum came over for Sunday lunch today and the boys were on the grass. She loves Smudge and Spike, but always refers to J as 'the anti-social one' (its not that she doesn't like him, he's just never let her get close). I know J can be a bit grumpy and shy, and will generally keep away from anyone other than me, but he's definitely misunderstood. I've been telling her for ages that this is the way he comes across but that he's actually a very loving and soft piggy who loves fuss and cuddles (especially if it comes with food!).
Anyway, J was in his tube and Mum put her hand in to stroke him. I guided her towards his bum as he loves a good rough bum rub (strange, I know). Well, straight away he came out of his tube and stood there for ages while Mum was fussing him - he was loving every minute of it, even popcorned a few times. Every time she walked up to his run he came up to the front for more fuss. So now J's proved himself to be a big softie and Mum loves him!
