so today i dug out all my flowers from my flower bed area and we added a fence and made it into a piggie enclosure for our 3 piggies :) I'm going to grass the side with the slope and bark the other side and still need to paint the wall and inside the fence but i cant wait til its finished for them 🌍

That looks totally amazing! I’m guessing you’re lucky enough to not have any foxes around? Wish I could do that but... live in a flat 🙁

This is what i want to do when i have a house with a garden, but knock a hole in the wall to let them out from a big c and c cage inside

are garden is completly enclosed with 6ft fences and no threw way from anywhere around so no we dont get foxes but i woodnt leave them out there if we went out anyway! and we have a pool ect soo all summer we spend in the garden :)

That's awesome. No chance of doing anything like that here. We have 6ft fences but the damn foxes still manage to climb over (never go near the hutch thankfully - possibly due to the copious amounts of local takeaways and bin food readily available to them) but we also get magpies who would be straight in any run without a cover. Hope your piggies enjoy it

Same here, in fact I just saw two foxes in my yard the other day! At one time I had pet doves and I kept them in a beautiful enclosure outside but then I had the problem of raccoons trying to dog through underneath to get their bird food and then foxes tried to get in, etc! I have a real critter problem since I live surrounded by woods...

Loving your ideas in your enclosure, the slopped bank is great. I'm looking for inspiration for my outdoor enclosure. It's a work in progress as I need to buy the timber and mesh for the pen frame (We have a cat/rat/red kite issue so unless totally fenced in I would worry terrible)
I'm converting a child's wooden play house ive got the roof to put on this weekend, weather permitting and eventually I'll have something as lovely as yours for them to run around in, in their enclosure...

It looks brilliant! You did an amazing job. I don't have a garden. The joys of living in an upstairs flat. Your piggies are so lucky to have you as their owner.

Thank You 😊 i do try to give them all i can, they all call them Rugs at the vets lol i do love the fluffy curly coats althou they are soo dramactic when its brush time 🙄

I'd assumed that cats would go for guinea pigs, and a 6ft fence is easy for cats?

I once lived in a house with cats that brought rabbits in from the fields. Occasionally the prey would be too big for the cat flap so you'd hear a thumping noise as they repeatedly tried to pull them through the flap. So wouldn't a tame guinea pig would be much easier prey than an adult wild rabbit?
