I wasn't sure whether to post this in "Housing" or "Behaviour" so I've put it here.

I currently have both my boys in a C&C Cage, Moose has taken to stretching up on his back legs to give my bf kisses which is nice. But last night, he was closer to the side of the cage and started climbing up the side of the C&C to get to him! Unfortunately he managed to get his head over the top but not his big cobby bum! In fact, if it weren't for his big derriere, I think he might of been able to go over the top. Once he'd got so high, I think he realised he wasn't going to be able to get up or down so we helped him back onto the floor.

Has anyone else have any instances of "Spider Pig"? I was led to believe that they don't do that sort of thing.

Generally speaking they dont, but i have heard of a few "olympic guinea's" there have been video's on here of members piggies, jumping from the floor onto their sofa, and a friend of mine, her piggy hurdled some of the runs she had out at floor time! xx

I have a very stretchy pig who constantly stands on his back legs to stick his little ginger head out - I don't doubt for a second he is capable of being a climber so I have a top on my C&C just in case! I don't trust him.

Bless Moose & his big botty! :(|)

None of mine have ever attempted C&C climbing, but I've heard of some who do have a knack for such activities! At least he was trying to climb for a good reason, to plant some guinea kisses!

We have had instances in the past of Junior (no longer with us) of leaping over the top of the outdoor run. Also, I have had Star (our current alpha female) who has climbed onto the top of the cage while I was cleaning it to get back inside.
