Over the past couple of weeks 3 of my babies have popcorned over the rainbow bridge :0
My precious boy Spike - a beautiful Abyssinian, he and his brother were the first piggies I ever owned. Because of the way he was kept in the past before we got him, Spike aged prematurely and passed away in his sleep two weeks ago. He was a funny, sweet, chatty little guinea pig who loved to nibble your hand and was so in love with his brother it was just unbelievable.
Daisy, my precious tri-colour girlie, died in my arms before we could get to an OOH vets, despite being fine on the morning. She was a cheeky little madam who was always trying to escape and put the other girls in their places!
Pumpkin was not with us for very long - my dream piggie, a ginger Dutchie. He and his brother were being sold as part of a hutch deal on ebay. The seller agreed to let us have the piggies on their own for free so we went to collect them. Pumpkin was twice the size of his brother Spook and they loved to play with the other pair of boys, Tigs and Leo, through the bars.
This has been unbelievably hard, to lose 3 in such a short space of time, but I know they are safe together at the bridge. Popcorn free my angels xxxxxx
