I ended up having a super busy day transporting Brumbies around which meant I didn’t have time to introduce Spike and the girls yesterday.
However I had a free afternoon today so after they had there separate grass/run time during the morning. I set up the play area in the house ready for the introduction.
It went so well! I’m really pleased. Spike didn’t do any mounting behaviour, he walked around swaying his hips grumbling but didn’t really do any aggressive movements. Mary took to him straight away, she hasn’t once argued with him! They seem to enjoy each other company already
Opal had her heckles up greeting him and was a little snappy with him, but nothing concerning. Olive is just a little sweety and tried to stay out of trouble, she’s at the bottom of the pecking order so just squeaks loudly if someone’s annoying her. But doesn’t seem too dazed by the new boy in town.
I had them out for about 4 hours on the floor and just a little while ago put them all in together in there freshly cleaned out cage. They were all very excited about this. Spike learnt how to use the ramp straight away! Oh and he even went in the hammock which no one has ever used!
He’s loving all the space, and a whole room full of hay! He’s a Happy piggy with his 3 new wives

Fingers crossed all continues to go well.
