this morning i let you out in the run i didnt bother shutting the lid as i was bringing your food dish and toys to put in the run with you as i was in the shed the neighbours big dog jumped over my fence and snatched you from your run :'( when i jumped out the shed in shear panic the dog dropped you i then chased the dog out my garden before picking you up, you were still alive but bearly you took your last breath in my arms :'( :'( :'( god i feel like the worst person ever i havent stopped crying :'( :'( :'(

i cant really blame the dog :-\ its mainly the owners fault for being irrisponsale >:( went over to my Neighbours this morning (was going to do it yesturday but i couldnt talk about it without crying) and all she said was I'm so sorry but if you'd had the lid on the run the dog wouldnt have got it in the first place... i replied saying if you had a bigger fence to stop your dog from escaping my Guinea Pig would still be alive :tickedoff: honestly some people >:( I'm now going to have a higher fence put in my garden to stop dogs from getting in :'(
 
What an awful thing to happen, poor Spike, for what it's worth, I think you are right not to blame the dog, it's only instincts. What a shame.
