I lost my beautiful 2 year old boy Spike suddenly yesterday morning after suffering from fluid on his lungs. I’m so devastated, burying him in the ground was the hardest thing. I just can’t believe he was happy one minute then gone the next.
He leaves behind his cagemates Pinky and Porky.
Rest in peace my beautiful baby xxxxx

I’m so sorry for your loss, sudden losses are always a shock as I know after losing my beautiful Zebedee in similar circumstances. Your Spike and my Zebedee are there at rainbow bridge popcorning away, I’m sure :luv:

Thank you all so much for your kind words and wishes. It means a lot. Friends and family have been very supportive but no one quite understands like fellow guinea pig lovers x

It was awful, I just couldn’t believe it one minute he was chuttering about at the vets and the next minute he was gone :soz: I’m just so thankful I have the others and that they’re not too heartbroken xx
 
I’m going to buy a spiky plant to put on his grave, the house is so quiet without him xx

Thank you. I’m doing okay, I’m just thankful that my other pigs aren’t heartbroken and are getting on well together. I’m going to make a picture collage of Spike and frame it in their room as a little memorial.
