Spike's dream

Spike gave me a scare today. The pigs were all sitting in their carry boxes while I did the big clean and Spike caught my eye.
Him and Bob were flat out, I think they were both fast asleep. Spike had his eyes open but you could see the white edge and they were moving. His ears were twitching and his breathing really fast. My first thoughts were something was really wrong but I gently started stroking him and I think he'd just been asleep as he seemed to wake up and go back to normal. It was such an odd thing to see. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, my Piggy Wiggin did this and I thought she was dying but like Spike she was just dreaming. My rabbits Norris and Narla have both also done this.

I was so worried I thought he was having a seizure! It was his eyes that were so odd, I guess he was experiencing REM. Glad he's not the only one but it is scary isn't it?

I have seen Willow dreaming, but she was crashed out

My guinea used to do this! scary at first but after a while when their tiny legs and paws are moving like they are running its super cute! x
