I get my Spillers Readigrass from Thistle Cavies Rescue (online) - can't seem to find any local, although I like buying from them as I know my moneys going to a fab cause. Give it a try. My two LOVE it O0

I use readigrass as feed, and am worried about quality of local hay so have now ordered some timithy hay via gorgeous guineas.

I also get mine from Thistle Cavies. They are online, just google "Thistle Cavies" and you will see their online shop. Such a wonderful place for piggies looking for a new home. I've been there a few times as I live in Scotland and the pigs are so happy and well cared for.

I give a handful of Readigrass to my boys mixed in with their Timothy hay. THey love it. It's especially good in this winter weather as it gives them the nutrients that fresh grass would provide. It also encourages their foraging skills which stops boredom.

Thistle Cavies supply a lot of brilliant hays. I buy small bags of Orchard Grass (lovely green strands of sweet grass), Readigrass and Timothy Hay. My boys get heaps of ordinary hay to bed down in and I top it up with the more nutritious hays in their rack.

Small bag of Orchard Grass and Timothy is about £4 each (p &p included). Readigrass about £7 for a good sized bag (about the size of a supermarket carrier bag). One of my boys, Davey was a reluctant hay eater. I gave him these and he went crazy for it.

I think thistle cavies is great and so much cheaper than other online shops and postage is included in the price and its a rescue O0

Can readigrass be fed like hay as in unlimited amounts? Mine have a big handful between 2 each morning at the moment but would it be ok to have more than this?

might try the mixing thing myself as mine eat lots of, AKA love, the dried grass & barely touch the timothy hay. They scared my flatmate squeakign at him lots when they ran out of grass :D lol.

Cheers Pumpkinpiggie for that misses lives near Arnold so i'll have to check them out when i pay her a visit this weekend :)

Well mine get a washing up bowl between 6 every other day and there is always a bit left so maybe a bit too much. Individual pigs get a good hand full each.
I would imagine what you are feeding should be ok.
