Spinach

Is it true that piggies cannot have too much spinach as it gives them kidney stones (my vet told me this but as we have already realised he is an idiot :

It's one of those veggies that shouldn't be given a lot of. I give baby spinach but only once a week and only very small amounts.

yeah they shouldn't be fed too much O0 mine get it probably every other week but feeding once a week should be fine O0

mine hardly have any spinach, i know Mary doesnt feed it at all, i think i used to give them a little bit too much

It's high in calcium and it's bladder stones it can cause so should only be fed occasionally.

When I've given mine spinach in the past it went down really well and was quickly eatten up - unfortunatley as you can only buy it in big bags they don't get it very often unless I'm going to be using it in meals.
