Hello, so recently I’ve noticed one of my guinea pigs(penny) has been regurgitating some things, when I give her a papaya digestive support tablet she eats it and then paws her cheeks and then she spits some of it out, this is really hard to explain but she does almost like a circular motion with her mouth and sticks her tongue and teeth out, she doesn’t do it all the time, a while back she did it too right after she had her veggies, she still eats and drinks just the occasional weird mouth movement, is this normal? Sometimes even after she’s had her pellets she does it. It really scares me because it sounds like she’s eating a brain or something😂😬

Could it be something to do with her teeth? Tagging in @furryfriends (TEAS) the dental expert
I don’t think so, for each piggy I give them health check ups twice a week, I check their paws, teeth, eyes, and ears, she visited the vet not too long ago and the vet was impressed. I just don’t know if she eats to fast or if food gets stuck?😕

Sadly we aren't able to see molars at home without an otoscope, if there is a problem with her back teeth that might be causing her struggles! I'd take her to a vet and get them to have a good look at her front and back teeth too.

Okay I’ll defiantly look into that, she’s still eating and drinking just fine and acting normally, do you think that if something was wrong she wouldn’t be eating or drinking? This happens rarely too.
