We decided to pop out on our dinner to pick some dry food up for the pigs and some fresh veg from the fruit shop and ended up spending over £20 on them! We got a bit carried away in the pet shop and ended up buying another food bowl with cute guinea pig characters around the edge ( we're hoping the little tiffs they've been having might stop now they have a food bowl each ), a grassy hutch for them to hide in and a large log bridge. They're getting more money spent on them then we are at the moment!

Does anyone else find them irresistible to buy for?!

Yep! Just got back from Petsathome to buy some toys and things to amuse Bully! Spent £25............. 98)

Ahh well, we're not the only ones then!

I had to get dragged away from the cute guinea pigs they were selling as well, I felt so sorry for them, they were in tiny glass fronted boxes ( its the best description I can think of ) with very little sawdust on the bottom and no hay ( well I could see a few pieces dotted around but no-where near enough ) and it didnt say whether they were male or female so I can only assume they didnt know so had just had them together.

I think they're around 8 - 10 weeks old now, we've had them for around 3 weeks I think. They're called Cleo and Athena.

The new toys have gone down a storm, they've been going mental since we put them in around 2.5 hours ago! They haven't stopped popcorning and running around, its so cute! ( I did have plans of doing some work, but they were far more interesting! )

We're lucky that we have a decent little fruit and veg shop near to where we work so we can just pop out on a lunch time to pick things up, ended up getting a big bag full of veg for them today ( so far they haven't been impressed with fruit )

Was lovely meeting you and your daughter btw :)

nice meeting you both too :)

looking forward to meeting your piggies. email or PM and you could come here to meet mine.

I end up going to morrisons or asda for my veg etc

yep they even sent hubby a fathers day card thanking him for getting their food for them 98) 98)

lol I spend loads on my piggies best veg, herbs, food, treats, toys and for me mugs, cards, keyrings oh the list goes on. Hubby hates going anywhere near pet shops etc and now I have found ebay I just cant stop lol. I have to text him today to tell him to pick up some megazorb and food he will be pleased I think he is reaching his limit with my piggies.

Went to pet shop today for hay and shavings and came out with

hay & shavings
2 new drinkings bottles
cage disinfectant (know I've got a new one at home but can't find it)
A wire ball to stuff hay in
An edible loofah ball ?
A ball made of twiggy things (good for their teeth)

sadly I had to leave 2 gorgeous piggies in there, one just like our Rosie and one creamy colour with grey splodges on - :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: I so wanted to buy them but hubby said he would pack his bags if another pig came home ::) :(
