My 2 beautiful boars Buzz and Woody are extremely spoilt and today has proved this!

Ive been into town today with my mum and little boy. We brought the usual piggie related things (food, puppy pads for their cage, cage disinfectat and some toys).

On the way back we popped into Tesco to buy the essentials for the next few days. Mum says she wont be long, so we wait at the exit as Ethan is exhausted! Mum comes back about 15 minutes later with a basket full of different things. Shes only gone to the vegetable aisle and stocked up on reduced veggies for the piggies! Now here was me thinking she tolerated them but didnt really like them.

We get home, unpack the shopping and my mum/dad have only saved all the cardboard boxes and egg cartons for the piggies to use.

My neighbours have a child that is around the same age as Ethan (2), their 3 others are school age. They love popping into see the pigs now and again and have started saving me their old newspapers, cardboard toilet/kitchen roll tubes and fresh veggies from their allotment for the piggies.

All in all, I have come to realise my boys are defently spoilt. They have everything they could ever ask for, and more!

Anyone else have spoilt piggies? What do you spoil yours with?

Lucy xx

Aww your piggies sound like there living a lovely life with you !

My boys are always spoilt by my boyfriends mum and mine, it's lovely when other people think of them and save things like toilet rolls, sometimes i think my mum feels the guinea pigs are her grandchildren ! haha.

Haha! My parents have 3 grandchildren but still treat all the pets as their surrogate grandchildren! x

God,my pigs are so pampered - have changed where we supermarket shop to Aldi now,as they tend to have the best veg at the best price - for example - today bought them a honeydew melon 69p - cellery 39p - savoy cabbage 39p - 4 cucumbers 49p - I always do my piggies veg shopping first, then do mine and the kids stuff afterwards - we have 4 different colours and sets of fleece - 2 sets of vet bed - save all the boxes from work for piggy playtime on the carpet - and I go out once / twice a day to get them fresh grass / dandylions / applesticks / or whatever the Countess's gardner has got for them. - but the pleasure they give is immeasurable - x)

I buy fresh veggies for my pigs, whereas I used to have a look in the sales rack to see if there were any cheap ones. I *try* to buy organic yet I don't buy value stuff for me and the OH lol.

A girl at work jokes that my pigs are most spoiled she's ever seen because every day in the mail something comes in for the guineas and she's never seen me buy anything for myself. It's usually shampoo from GG, cozies, cage liners, hay racks - all sorts. But then again, she thinks guinea who live inside are being spoiled.

I don't think any of our guinea pigs are "spoiled" in the negative sense of the word i.e "to indulge someone's whims and desires to such an extent that the person's character almost visibly deteriorates" - We just like to make sure they are cared for and well looked after :) x

I am now going to use your end quote when people tell me my boys are spoilt! x
