As many of you know several of the pigs and bunnies in my care have received sponsorship for a while - very kindly organised by Sophie W :)
I've been giving the matter some very serious consideration over the last few months as some absolutely fantastic homes have been offered to these pigs and buns and have come to the conclusion that they should be allowed to go to new homes.........................rest assured this is not a decision I have taken lightly and has given me many sleepless nights !

I've kept them here because I've become seriously attached to them for various reasons. They have of course, received the very best possible care whilst they have been living here but nothing can compare with the extra love, attention and space that they could receive in knowledgable pet homes.

Also I dont like to be in a position where my rescue accomadation is full - I've had to turn away a few piggies recently so rehoming the long stay residents will free up some space for more needy pigs and buns.

Muppet and Roger have gone to a great family (very experinced with dental bunnies) not far from me and are living in bunny paradise.
Ginger and Cherelle are leaving this weekend to live with a lovely lady who is very experienced with rescue animals and Bernie has gone to a very dear friend of mine to keep an elderly lonely sow company.

I'd like to thank everyone who has been sponsoring these pigs and buns - your kindness and generosity has been amazing and very much appreciated.........xx>>>

That's great news Teresa - I don't think anyone would disagree that a "forever home" is the perfect answer. I know how well you look after all the charges in your care, but it's lovely to think they've been able to find the right homes now.

I'm particularly pleased to know about Muppet and Roger.

That's lovely Teresa. Must have been difficult to make the decision but I know you'll have only let them go to the best forever homes. They'll all have wonderful lives being spoiled by their new owners and you have room for more needy animals.

Good work missus. xx>>>

That is great news!

It is not easy to let go yourself, especially after so long, but all those homes sound very special indeed, and I hope that your charges will be be very happy there!

They are very lucky piggies and bunnies, both to have been in your care when they needed it and that they now have found their forever homes with people you trust. I know how hard that must have been for you!

The other sponsor piggies here are enjoying their days, I will take some more pics when the sun is shining (we can hope!). We are not taking new sponsors for now as I have my hands full with little one and do not have time to do the paperwork, so until we are taking in piggies again it is on hold. But thank you to everyone who has supported us, I keep meaning to tot up how many piggies we helped last year and this year between us - it's been a lot!
