We bought them because we named spook in the shop! My daughter looked in the cage and announced "it has a face!" I said "why yes, I do believe it would have a face!" then saw what she meant. Their cage was quite dark and Spook's face markings really stood out. Then the shop lad did the hard sell, my daughter looked all besotted and I ended up buying Spook and a cage set up. Then I thought "I can't leave the other one on it's own", remembered that they liked company so I got Smaug too, and a telling off from my son when we got home for impulse buying pets! (But it wasn't really an impulse, I've wanted a piggy for years!)
They are funny though. Today I gave them some okra to try, they just air nibbled it! You could tell they were interested, just not quite brave enough to actually try a proper bite! Very cute!
