Got home to some inexplicably excited piggies tonight! Everyone is popcorning and turning the furniture over and dancing and leaping and playing happy chase... could it be a full moon thing? Spooky little things, no idea why they are all so excitable but they aren't scared or upset, just... mass happy hysteria of some kind :) Jezebel was hopping about like a happy floof frog, Puggle was running up and down the ramp and jumping on Piggle, Clover was wheeking and dancing... Theo is bemused but pleased because he's getting a lot of ear licking and everyone is happy! I've put the whole wheeking herd of chaos in the playpen to watch what happens next...
 
Think Jezebel and Puggle have cheered up a fair a bit after their vet trip, even though not much happened- both have lovely short toenails and whether Jezzy's mite treatment is having an effect yet or not she enjoyed all the thorough vet grooming and attention, and Puggle was very happy not to get a thermometer up her bum and injections this time! Plus they got quality time together in the vet shuttle bus box which magically filled up with apple chunks when they got home for being such good girls :)
Also possibly Big Pig Clover might be in season in a very loved-up way, not at all like Mad Piggle in season, Clover is skipping around licking everyone and chuckling and exuding pheromones of joy :)
 
It is a bit suspicious, but my mum piggy grandma hasn't visited for a while with her big bottle of morphine because she's having respite care in a hospice, and there's no bottles of wine missing from the wine rack in the piggy room... no strange mushrooms growing in the giant snail tanks... so I think it's just natural "joie de vivre" :)
