Thank you for that, I'll have a look tomorrow I need to replace one which is looking a bit bumpy, afraid it's going to explode when I put it in the microwave!

I went in the B &M near to where I work and they said they've never had any in and to try one of the bigger stores ☹️

I've been going in for 2 weeks for the timothy hay, my boys love it as their treat hay, they finally had it today. :yahoo:
No heat safes though :hb: . My OH just said he'll go and look in another one tomorrow, it's to far for me to walk and get back in time for Spike's meds.

I have 3 b and m in my area, and all 3 have them in stock

Do you think they would be good for indoor piggies? It’s quite warm inside at this time of year, but I’m just wondering if it’s worth buying it. The price is very good!

Its worth buying, even if you only use it if your pigs are ever recovering from any illnesses. They wr brilliant for pneumonia recovery.

Anyone near South Bristol, they have them in the Ashton Gate store. OH got me two today.
So far everything about them is positive. They only take 3 mins to heat in my microwave, the snuggle safes are 6. The cover has a zip, the others have a bit of velcro that doesn't stay done up on one of mine because the cover is too small and to stretched. One in the cage now, will report back later as to how warm it's staying.

They can still be used for indoor piggies if you feel they need a warmer spot to sit

You can get the snuggle safes on line at various sites for about £13. I got my original ones half price, I bought them one summer! I'm realy hoping these B&M ones stay warm for at least 6 hours, 2 for less than the price of one. OH could be sent on another bike ride!

I've been experimenting with these heat pads, they don't stay warm for as long as the Snuggle Safes. I tried heating them for 4 mins (instructions say 3) and got 4 hours out of them, on the recommended 3 mins I got 2.5 - 3 hours max. The Snuggle Safes are warm for 7+ hours (heated for 5-6 mins). Times depend on the wattage of your microwave.
In conclusion I would say, if you have indoor piggies and are only going to be using these in the case of a sick piggie where you should only be using a partially warmed pad anyway and reheating it every few hours these are worth buying. If you want pads for outdoor/shed piggies in the winter Snuggle Safes would be better to last the night.
