My boyfriend sprayed his Axe deodorant right next to my piggies cage this morning. I don't know what he was thinking as he knows better than to use perfume near the piggy :( I am very concerned about the effect this might have, the spray was definitely in range of the cage. I removed the piggy from the room right after, but would like to know what to look for and for how long I should worry.

Unless one of your piggies is showing a bad reaction (which would have been fairly quickly), a one-off should not be cause for concern. However, it is not a good idea to spray regularly in a piggy room. Men, eh?

Just air the room for 5-10 minutes immediately afterwards.
