Spring Fever!

I know it isnt Spring but my 3 have gone completely mental!

I came down this morning to them running around the cage and through a hay tunnel they had fashioned overnight, squeaking, chattering... They stopped to eat their breakfast and i was sitting on the sofa and heard them all running about and doing the same thing... When it got a bit over zealous i had to tell them to stop it but they are doing it loads today!

Mine are never that excited about anything apart from food... Is it just mine or are anyone elses getting skittish and noisy at the moment>?

My Stuart, Sparrow and Josie had a funny moment the other evening.

They have a log thingy with holes in it in the main part of their hutch, which is probably for mice to hide in really, but I stuff the small holes with hay and it amuses them to pull the hay out. This log is about 3" in diameter and 7" long.

Anyway when I went to tuck them in the other night, it was gone from the lounge ... I looked on the top of the hutch because my eldest daughter had been over fussing around with them ... no, it wasn't there.

I found it in their bedroom, not just in the part way through the doorway, but completely in there and turned around. I wish I had been there to see them do it!

And Sparrow who is three years old has been popcorning and running around recently. Bless her.

how cute is sparrow!

mine always have their crazy spats, but they're still quite young. my two eldest are nearly 8months and the two youngest are just over four months. i love it, ruby starts it all off, closely followed by the others!

my baby boars often have funny turns, they are only small though and do not know the strife and troubles of the grown up guinea world
It usually involves wheeking as loudly as possible (a trait learned from their mum), popcorning round, dashing round banging into the sides of the cage, and rumbling at the log cabin.
