Do they change? My girls still eat grass but not as much as before and they are leaving the spring greens as they aren't as green as before. Does this continue all autumn / winter?

If it does what do you all feed yours in winter? My girls LOVE spring greens and don't like cabbage. Don't know what else to give them.

The grows really well in spring and in late summer again when temperatures are coming down, but before the frost really hits. We have been spoilt for the quality of the grass this year with lots of rain and moderate temperatures! Winter grass is not very nutritious.

The same goes for spring greens - they are called that for a reason! You can still feed them (I do ), but they won't be at their best if grown in this country.

I too am feeding spring greens but i alternate with romaine lettuce which is my piggies fave & i feed dried grass all year through :)
