spring greens

Be aware that vege growers are starting to use insecticidal spray to control cabbage white butterfly on spring greens .Its that time of year so do wash them really well. My piggies love their sring greens so I will continue to Use it but well washed.

Thanks for that. I buy the pre washed ones but always do rinse all veg well. Gives them extra fluid too.

I always feed green veges well washed to help fluid intake .Also feed lots of cucumber for the same reason.

Mine love cucumber, very handy when the weather is so hot for added fluids.

none of my piggies really like spring greens they have a little nible and the rest has to be thrown away they do like savoy cabbage though
