The most wonderful rat has just passed away. He was 4 years and 3 months old and my Autistic sons treasured pet for half of his life, he will be devastated.

Why must such wonderful creatures have such short lives?

He will be forever in our hearts. Rest in peace my sweet baby.

poor sprite :-( i hate the short lifes that our beloved pets lead, it seems so unfair.

I'm so sorry to hear you have lost Sprite. He obviously had a special place in your hearts and had a wonderful life with you. Sending extra special hugs to your son and I hope he copes ok with the news. Run free at the bridge lovely Sprite.
