Mine loves sprouts :)

Not sure what you mean by sprout leafs - do you mean the leaves off the plants? or the leaves that you usually peel and throw away when you cook them for yourself? My piggies get the whole of the sprout, but have never fed them leaves off the actual plant.

Still not sure what you mean..sorry... :-\

If you mean the leaves off the sprout - yes they can have the whole thing..

I think you mean the little leaves which cover the actual sprout if so then yes. Mine love the whole sprout but I don't love their smell after having sprouts ;D

yes my lot love sprouts.I buy them by the full sack ::)

Mine like sprouts as well. They had them on offer last week in Lidl, 39p a net.
Otherswise they get the outer leaves if my mum cooks a roast dinner.

Mine hate sprouts, just a small nibble makes them fart anyway ;D

mine have never has spouts i nearly got some last time i went shopping because they've been on offer but i didnt know whether they are popular with piggies

I bought some on special offer after Xmas last year and the piggies wouldn't touch them ::) Luckily my husband likes them ;D

Thank you everyone, i meant the leaves coming off the plant lol sorry for not being clear. Iv been growing sprouts and for only me and my boyfriend we have a lot so its good to no i can share then with my pigs now. :) :)

My mum broke her foot once, I done her shopping she said she wanted Stouts on her list so I bought her some ale! 98) Well it ain't my fault she can't spell! ;D

Yep Sprouts are fine, haven't given them to my pigguns yet as they are still expensive in the shops! Just be careful as too many of them can cause tummy upset and gas. :)

Cool, they were expensive in Aldi so I think I'll get som this weekend. Although they've had cabbage this week so I like to change it around! :)

Mine only get them when dads cooking them he leaves me the outter leafs in a bag now and the piggies love them :)

Think they can have the plant leaves but not sure so I personally wouldn't give them until I knew. I did read once that the only veg not wise to give them is stuff grown from bulbs and potatoes and beet leaves! Bizarre! 98) Mine likes sprouts but only in moderation and only if I peel the leaves off - the lazy blighter! In all fairness I think it may be tricky for them to get purchase on the hard round veg with their little teeth! :)

They can have the sprouts, the tops (like cabbage) and also when they have them in shops on the stalk, they can have nibble on that too! I usually cut the sprouts off the stalk and at floortime give them the stalk to nibble on and play with!

But not too much as they can make them a bit windy! :embarassed:
