Are sprouts ok for guineas I've been giving them 1 cut up in thier bowl for the last few days & its been dissapearing so they must like them I'm quite suprised as they are usually fussy little so & so's.I suppose it makes a change from kale & romaine. They do seem to like sweet things though such as ripe plums & grapes.

Mine won't eat them - they roll them round the floor in the run like little footballs!

Yeah mine wont eat whole ones! They have to have the leaves peeled off! Talk about spoilt pigs! rolleyes

lol i peel of the leaves too, then when it gets down low i cut them in half to make it easier for them to eat!

I guess we all spoil our piggies cos I spend ages evey day cutting their veggies into small chunks & de-seeding tomatoes & grapes. Their boowls look luvly when they are put into the hutch but are demolished in seconds. My OH is jealous cos his meals never look that pretty...Then again he turns his nose up at 'salad' One of thee days I'll present him with a copy of the guinea pig meal just to see if he'll eat it!:))

there only 50p per bag in booths a big bag too mine havent tried them yet but will get them some

Mine sometimes eat them and other times won't touch them. Its so funny - the guinea pigs eat all the veg that I won't touch and I eat all the ones that they don't like!

Sounds like a match made in heaven:):) Every time I do the pigs salad my daughters insist on having a chunk of cucumber or a carrot

mine love them...lol they can have them in their christmas dinner as well x lol

I have never tried feeding them whole, only the outside leaves when I peel them for dinner. But I will try them now ... thanks! :)
