I have just got back from the vet and have discovered my piggie has a spur on his front paw. Basically all they did was trim in down and told me to keep trimming it so it doesn't catch or become infected.

I am just wondering do these spurs ever go away completely or is it something he will be living with?

Some piggies just get them- just like some people are more prone to calluses than others. It's something that will keep reforming, but it's not a concern provided it's not getting snagged on things or tearing. Out of my pigs, one gets spurs and one doesn't- both in the same cage, same bedding, same everything! HTH a bit!
