in my experience, yes.. Quite a few have little spurs on their feet and/or besides their nals..

Tonic is the only one to have a few larger ones on both his front feet and by his nails..

Doesn't bother them.. It's only like a hard skin that us humans have

Wiggy and Scooby get them all the time. They usually grow back but it is painless for the piggie if you keep it short and trim however if you leave it to get big, it could get infected.

I used to get there Spurs trimmed at the Vet's but now I do it myself - I learnt from the vet. You just use piggy nail clippers and clip it off and it's painless but you have to be careful not to get too close to the skin.

Don't clip it off completely - Just trim it down ;)[/b

Oh no, Spurs are dead skin and if you leave them to get big they could get infected. If you trim them down a little, it won't hurt or bleed at all. Just don't catch the skin ;)

Can you take a photo and post it? Spurs don't normally grow into the skin but nails can.

Spurs are they little hard bumps on the feet by the toes? about two weeks before rudi passed away i took him to the vet with a little bump like that it looked a little like a wart would on us and he didn't know what it was he gave him anti-inflamitares is it just me or is my vet a little uneducated because he is always gettin things wrong! I'm really worried about taking Zubin to be neutered with him now! My rabbits have Spurs on there teeth Bobbin passed them on to all 6 of her babies!
