Is it normal for then to have little squabbles? They'll be playing together one minute, popcorning and chasing each other then they'll be kind of bitting heads and making a hissing sound when the other tries to enter the hidey.

How big is your cage?
How many hides do you have?
Do all hides have two exits?

The dominant piggy will have pick of hides etc so she will not always be prepared to let the other piggy in hence the need for multiple hides

We have the ferplast 120 2 Tier. There's 2 hides, one with 2 exits, 1 with just 1. I am waiting for another to arrive from etsy with 2 exits though. They're fine this morning, just been playing around on the floor while I cleaned out the cage.

There is going to be some dominant behaviours so as long as it is mild it’s fine.

A 120 cage is minimum size for two sows (150x60cm recommended), so it is ok. Upper levels don’t count towards the cage size.

While waiting, if you have a box you could cut two doors in it and put that in as another hide.

Funny you should say that, it's exactly what I did this morning when I finished cleaning the cage.
