*squeak* i want a friend?

hey guys i have my guinea pig at me for 1 month now and he seems very happy.
I wonder if i should get him another guinea pig friend or i can play with him so he isnt lonely?
 
Guineas are sociable animals and they love a friend, perhaps look through the rescue pages here we have rescues up and down the country you may find one near you. :)
 
Yep otherwise you'll have more than 2 guinea pigs with babes on the way and you don't want that. Females can become pregnant from a very young age.

How old is your pig? If he is an older pig a younger pig is ideal. or if he is younger go for an older pig. I have found pairings of boys at the same age hard work and they can fight because of their hormones kicking in at 6-10 months. :)

well my piggy is onl 1 month old, i would get another guinea pig but i donno if i neeed a bigger caage then:P theres no center for rescuing animals so i adopt a guinea pig so i donno if i should buy 1
 
Where abouts are you? I would give him a couple more weeks, get him to 6 weeks old than bond if possible with an older boar. :)
 
I'm confused, you said you've HAD your piggy for 1 month but that he's 1 month old, does this mean you have his mum & dad too or is he older than 1 month? :)
 
Not sure where you are but between us I am sure that we could find a rescue reasonably close to you.
 
As he is very young I would get a boar that is 1 year old. That way your older boar is past the hormonal stage and more than likely will accept a baby.

ah stop killing me on every single thread i make:( I'm not from UK and dont know english like a living british so dont correct me-.-.
I think my piggy will never be alone hes always popcorning on my sofa on the floor in the kitchen in his lil' house:D

i suggest you stop being rude to fellow members or i will report you to one of the mods. If your english is not good that is noones fault. people are trying to help you!

will repeat again- there's no need at all to be so rude.
if english isn't your first language you should be grateful you're getting some tips on improving, imo, rather than demanding that no one question the things you post that make no sense.
