Teejay
Adult Guinea Pig
Hi all, I finally took the plunge and booked my two boars, Pudding & Squeak, in to be castrated on Wednesday......:{
I know it's for the best long-term.....they can't live together, they just don't get along, but they're obviously lonely apart (they share a three storey cage, Squeak has the top two levels and Pudding has the bottom level).
They do get to see each other most days (while the weather's been good, they've been sharing a big outdoor run, separated by C&C grids), so they can interact with each other to some extent and can touch each other through the grids.
Anyway, my plan is to get them each a girlfriend (after the castration and after the 6 week wait). I know they'll both be happier living with another piggie, but I have to admit that the thought of the operation is proper scary!
But then, we have something to look forward to....getting at least two new girly piggies!
