Can guinea pigs get jealous? I have 1 sat with me and 1 in the run. The one in the run is squeaking really loud

Guinea pigs can be jealous. Some guinea pigs can also get very upset if left on their own and are desperate to stay in contact with their mate.

When you handle guinea pigs, always handle, feed, groom etc. the top piggy first, sticking to piggy protocol. If the underpiggy is getting very upset, please take them out together until the underpiggy is confident enough to deal with the separation.
