Lamenting tonight about my long lost piggy Squeaky... A pure black Abby who was brilliant...

I never realised how great she was until i got my current lot... She was fearless, always first at the door, enjoyed a stroke, running around in the long grass and munching to her hearts content... Enjoyed terrorising Buster the rabbit and pinching his food...:))

In the last 6 months of her life she moved indoors and she used to run around the dining room floor climbing on our legs, under them making herself at home on them...:)

She died in my mothers arms in our house as peacefully as she could have done, loved and dearly missed...

Its been 12 years Squeaky and you made a massive impression on me and my mum, I'm glad i was with you at the end but sorry you werent in my arms, i was too upset although i didnt show it...

Keep up the terrorising small animals and cats at the bridge darling and hope you are having a great time with mum and everyone else...( and let Buster eat his brocolli would you... rolleyes )

That's a really sweet tribute to her. My first piggy Pepsi was the same - totally fearless, more like a small dog than a guinea pig, and I thought they were all as tame as that - you could whistle across the garden if she was out and she'd come running over....

Bless Squeaky, wonder if she's met Pepsi at the bridge, they'd make a right pair! I know it sounds silly but I still remember her birthday, Sept 17th, even though she died many years ago.

Thank you for telling us about her. I'm so sorry you lost such a dear friend.

Awww! God bless Squeeky! It's amazing how some animals you have more of a bond with than others. Such a lovely tribute.

I had a massive bond with both my sister's rabbits, harry and bailey (though harry was more mine in the end and i actually named him!), i miss them both so much, though harry died 5years ago and bailey probably about 2years ago.

It's lovely to think pets make such an impression on your heart and mind, shows how much you dearly loved them. xxxxxxxxxxxxx

That's a wonderful tribute to Squeaky. It's clear how much you both loved each other.

She sounds wonderful!
My Pansy sounds like her always up for a fight especially with cats and alsways won! LOL
BIG HUGS x

awwwwwww thankyou for sharing her life with us that's lovely of you x
RIP Squeaky running free at the bridge, but having fun stirring up the buns and cats....:(|)
((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))) for you love, time helps but obviously she made a HUGE impact on your life, i bet she's looking down on you all and happy to see you with more piggies in your life what a legacy for her xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Awww thanks guys... I never realised how much i do actually miss her :(
I miss all my other animals too (especially Buster my wuss of a rabbit who loved his Squeaky piggy and always let her have her way :))) but we doted on Squeaky as much as you could with an outdoor piggy and even drove to the Cambridge Cavy Trust when she was ill instead of the vets down the road...

She is what made me have piggies again and i think i will always have piggies now...:) -c

It's surprising how much you miss your pets even after years go by. She sounds like she was a very special little piggie. xx
