Its hard to believe what a huge hole such a tiny creature can leave behind.
I hadnt realised how many little sounds he made till he'd gone, now the
kitchen is so awfully quiet.

He only stayed here for a few days, but he really stole my heart. He was such a lovely little guy and he reminded me so much of Pops.

When you told me he was so poorly I hoped and prayed he would be ok. I was so upset to hear he had gone.

Thankyou all for your kind messages, its very comforting when someone understands how sad you feel. Most folk think guineapigs are all the same, yes I've got a new pair of guineas but they'll never replace Squeekypete, I'd had him since he was 3 weeks old & looked like a little mouse & he'd become part of the family.

I am sorry for your loss; Squeekypete was a lovely boy! It is amazing how big the hole in our heart is that these tiny bundles of fur can leave us with.
