I noticed this morning when I woke up that one of my guinea pig's eyes was squinting a little (also blinking repeatedly). It doesn't seem watery and it's not crusty and her behavior hasn't changed a bit...

I took her and my other guinea pig out of the cage and let them go into their run around box so I could clean the cage (I didn't know what else to do) and her eye stopped squinting after a bit. She also stopped blinking repeatedly.

Now I checked on her and she it squinting again. Could she have gotten something inside her eye or something?

It is possible that she has some hay or something in there, after thoroughly cleaning your hands, have a good look in the eye, gently lifting the lid etc. x

Thank you, I did as you said (well tried, she's a very energetic) and from what I could tell I didn't see anything. Right now she seems fine but if there is something in her eye that I didn't see, do you know how I could get it out?
