the care home I am working in has huge grounds around it, with loads of dandelion on it.

And today my boss gave his okay for me to have the piggies on there in runs, because non of the residents are using those gardens anyway.

Now I am in two minds about whether I should use my Argos Grids or my old Rabbit Run...

There are loads of these big fat grey squirrels around there, and I was just afraid that they would try to get into the runs, being attracted by the piggies food!

I can imagine all kinds of scenarios, from the squirrel trying to squeeze into the run and leaving a gap and the piggies escape, or even squirrels attacking piggies!

Has anyone had experience with that sort of thing? Would squirrels attack other, strange, furries?

I don't think that squirrels would atack, but almost definitely steal their food. I would be on my guard just in case though.

Think that the argos grids with the top on would be much sturdier and safer.

I just got these nets from my other runs that I wanted to put on top, as I dont have THAT many grids left.

But I suppose a squirrel could easily squeeze through or chew through them?

Think that if there were no open gaps then it would be ok, as for the squirrels chewing them, I've no idea!

Maybe if they were that desperate to get food then they would? :)

Squirrels round by us are tame enough to go really close to them before running off, but they don't go far. These days some are not as wild and run off the minute they hear a noise
