Early yesterday morning we found Ruby "bothering" Emmeline's bottom. To say that this was upsetting little Emmeline would be a bit of an understatement.

My irresponsible response was to turf the thugs out of the larger C&C, plop Ruby, Taz and Emmeline in there and let him have his wicked way with Rube's while Emmeline got some peace.

Now last time we tried bonding them, little Emmeline got a bit fear aggressive and Ruby (in true martial arts style) launched herself at him after playing nicely at first with just a decided bop of the head. Since then, Taz has been living between each group of ladies, but when out for floor time, he make a beeline for Ruby hiding under the vet bed tunnel and she has been giving him the benefit of her wisdom.

So far, there has been the return to head bopping, serious discussions on who can eat what and Ruby complaining loudly at his continued "services rendered".

This is them yesterday morning with Emmeline:

Taz, Ruby & Emmeline

So far they are getting on well together. We've had Taz rumbling while Ruby nuzzled him and he's treating Emmeline like a friend (she tipped her box over and he went over to see if she was OK and if he could support with putting it back right). The ladies are encouraging him to eat more hay too which I'm pleased with.
