Leo has been stabbed in the foot with a piece of hay =/
It's a perfectly round 'wound' and seems to be quite dry and free from discharge but it's not where I would expect a bite from Gilly to be.
The only other possibility is, the hay. I myself have been stabbed in the finger a couple of times when I'm getting it out of the bag. It's not the best of meadow hay but I usually get two huge bags of it for just £4, it's mostly green which I assume means it's fresh.
Sometimes there is bits of 'thorny' looking strands which I take out. I've since started to use 'my little friend meadow hay'. It's chopped but I like it alot better. I'd rather have chopped hay then have my piggies stabbed in the foot.
When I first got Alvin and Theo I used 'Natures best devon meadow hay', but it was SO expensive.
