Had enough cage making for today zzz

I finished stage one (previous thread) at 3pm for my foster pigs Cola and Fidget, now finished stage two at 8:30pm for Minty and Pepe.
They are now in situ in their new home - ground floor.
Salt and Pepper are as before in their 'L shaped' cage above them with 2x2 hay loft above.

What I really want to do is higher the table slightly and re design making two identical big C&C cages for the two pairs, but I think I'll wait untill the weather picks up and while they are having outside grass time I can crack on with it.

No energy for tidying away my mess now, I'll put my daughter to bed, veggie for piggies then I'll be hitting the pillow too.

The joys of C&C

:)

Wow! That's amazing!

I bet that took ALOT of work... :o

Awwww wow well done that looks brilliant and a lot of hard work! :)

Fantastic! * should start a cage making business!

That's brilliant :) It's so big, it's perfect! They must be really happy!

Wow wow wow! What very very lucky piggies! They must be in heaven! I'm building my C&C cage tomo :))

OOOh lots of pictures please, I love seeing other peoples C&C's.

I've finished my C&C cage, have been super busy so haven't been on the forum in a few days to post pics! The girls LOVE it, they look so small now :)) ! Really happy I took the time and money to build it for them (it did take quite a few hours I must admit!) as they have so much room now to run around and have their own space when they need it!

It's good having the extra level too as I keep changing it all around to make it interesting for them :)

So here it is...

Ooo that looks fabulous! Well worth all the effort :)

That's where I'm at now! Been talking to OH for few weeks about how big we can go and researching Correx etc mind swirling!

i love these cages - I haven't posted for a long time but I made my own c+c for our four girls and it was such good fun doing it!

We have found our cage really easy to clean out - we have two 3 x 4 levels and a 2 by 3 dining area with a hayloft incorporated on the top.

There is a lot of racing up and down the ramps - although they were regarded with some suspicion for the first couple of days.

I will try and get some pictures and videos up over the next couple of weeks - I started applying for a new job just after we got our girls from Nutmeg, and the application process took six months of slogging - now I have got the job I am away from home a lot but my two girls and OH do a great job of looking after our tribe of four - Daisy, Nettle, Bramble and Berry.

The girls have been so much fun for us and we can't thank Nutmeg and Becky at Becklen for helping us get our furry family moved in.

Hey thats brilliant !

Well done you, its very satisfying making C&C isnt it! Your piggies will be so so happy with all the space to run around in too.

I've managed to get more grids from B&Q at the weekend so l'll be starting a different design - Stage 3, but I think I'll wait till the piggies are having grass time when its warmer to start it.

:)p
