Off to the vets this afternoon with Star. Her weight has gone from 994 to 977 to 1043 to 943 to 878 over the last few weeks. I suspect its early stages of an URI. Typical it happens on the anniversary of us losing Michael. :(

Good luck at the Vets, will be thinking of you and star, Sorry that it has happened at such a bad time :( Hugs xx

Star is an effin attention seeking DIVA (in the biggest capitals). No sign of any URI or UTI, no painful squeek from examination, in fact she was playing up examining the scales. The only thing the vet could think of was teeth burrs, but as Star had made sure she went to the vets with a mouth full of readigrass it was still mashed up in her mouth preventing any view. Vet has no problems with referral to Simon if it is teeth, and diagnosed Metacam to try for a couple of days. Got her home and she proceeded to munch some hay and then curl up in the Pod. Wallet is £51 lighter.

Poor Star :( Its a loss of 100g or so would set my piggie alarm senses off too. Monitor her eating - as I'm sure you will Steve. Hopefully its just a blip. Sorry it is all happening at this sad time of year for you. x
