Hi I have three Guinea pigs and my older Guinea pigs won't get along with my new piggie so I have them split up with a divider at the moment so they can see, smell, and hear each other and I have a fourteen day time period if I want to return her (the new piggie) (I know its not right to get Guinea pigs from the pet store but the Guinea pig was really lonely and has been there for two months so I decided to adopt it) and it's almost fourteen days (I have to return her on Thursday). I have two options I could return her (which I don't want to (and I want to do the second option) but it's an option if I have to) or I could keep her with a divider in between them. What do you think?

Also I had another question when do you know your Sow has ovarian cysts?

I wouldn’t return your piggie. See this is a dominance thing. Not only that but groups of three there are usually one that’s the outcast. The only thing u can do is separate and give the other one a partner then introduce them as four, or u can keep her alone but she might be depressed. It’s honestly up to you. I love my piggies and if that was an issue I would never return them, but that’s because I get really attached. There’s nothing wrong with returning if u think she could get better.

If it’s an option, please do not return her. Have you had a good read of the threads at the top of this section? Only if blood is drawn should a piggy be separated.

If your pig doesn’t like the new one, it is perfectly fine to have them living side by side with a divider.
